People are always warning you to watch out for the quite ones because they are  kinkier or wild once you get to know them. We wondered if this was true. Where the introverts of the world really all hiding as sexual deviant just waiting to be coxed to the surface? Have you wondered who has more sex your outgoing roommate or your classmate that never speaks and just seems to always be relaxing alone, well we have the answers for you.

Who has more sex?

The short answer is extroverts have more sex than introverts. They actually have a lot more sex. One study showed that on average extroverted men have sex 5.5 times a month, compared to only 3 times for introverted men. Likewise, extroverted women had sex even more than their male counterparts, at an average 7.5 times per month, while introverted ladies had sex 3.1 times per month. Before that study, psychologist Hans Jürgen Eysenck wrote in his 1976 book, Sex and Personality, that extroverts not only have more sex than introverts, but they also have sex in more positions, and with more people. They are also more likely to cheat, but it’s genetic, so you can’t really blame them if they do.

Who is a better sex partner?

Despite the differences in how many times, and with how many people they have sex, both introverts and  extroverts are basically equally stellar in bed. Analysis of 149 responses to a survey conducted by Brenda Knowles showed that in response to the question, “The most exquisite sex you ever had was with an …” 25.83% said with an extrovert, 29.53% said with an introvert, and 28.19% said they had amazing sex with both. The remaining 17.45% are the sad, unfortunate people who said they’ve “never had exquisite sex.”

So if you have been hunting a sex partner based on this aspect of their personality, its pretty much a non-indicator of the quality of sex you will have but could give a clue to the quantity.
