We are rejoicing with them! One of Showtimes’ sexiest signature series ever is making its come back! The L Word was the first main stream drama series that centralized on lesbian characters, that were open about their sexuality. While we loved the complex, entertaining, and beautiful story lines we are so excited to see beautiful women celebrating their love and sexuality on screen again, even if it is a new cast. Even the fans felt the desperation and desire of this long awaited coupling. Everyone can relate to that awkward and awesome can’t hold back any more need you now the moment of finally getting your hands on someone you’ve wanted for a long time. These girls definitely do that moment justice. They also gave us every thing from raw passion to steamy to slow and passionate.
Season 5 Episode 10 Lifecycle – Nikki and Jenny…and a camera… and Adele
In the middle of one of the most tear jerking episodes, we are blessed with a reprieve. Kate French, glasses, a man’s button-down, a harness, a camera, and some voyeurism. We were just as glued to the action as Adele.
Season 5 Episode 9 – Bette and Tina
Talk about “love in an elevator.” Heat waves are known for building sexual heat also. The entire heat wave montage was steaming. However, Bette and Tina finalizing their reconciliation in the stalled out elevator raised viewers temperatures by at least 10 degrees.
Season 5 Episode 2 – Helena and Dusty
There were rumors that Orange is the New Black was a spin off of the L word, and with scenes like this, we understand the whispers. Helena really deserved some good old prison romance after that b*tch Catherine helped put her there.
