Welcome back to our Master Sexting Series, this week we have some tips from you straight from the experts. From sexologist Emily Morse, to pleasure coach Tyomi Morgan, and even award-winning sex educator Kait Scalisi, we’ve compiled their best sexting advice to help you have the best sexting sessions of your life.
Timing is Top Priority
A poorly timed sext can be slightly embarrassing, but a badly timed sext can be absolutely horrible. Make sure you’re sexting partner isn’t screen sharing their phone on a work project, or showing their mother photos before sending that sext. Emily Morse suggests a simple “Hey, you busy?” before you start to make sure the coast is clear.
Set the stage to go slow.
“I’m always telling people when it comes to sex, to go five times slower than you think — the same goes for sexting. You don’t want to jump straight into sex without a warm-up, so treat your sexts the same way.” Suggests Emily Morse. Tyomi Morgan agrees saying: “Sexting is all about the build up. Begin the conversation with an opening that indicates you’re ready to play without revealing too much. Sending a selfie of your cleavage, for example, with a simple message of ‘Hey you’ can grab their attention while making your intentions clear of what this thread can become if the person is willing to answer back.”
Come Prepared

You may not need condoms and lube for a sexting session, but that doesn’t mean you cant come prepared. Stopping to take and send a selfie can drop you out of the mood. “Keep a set of stock selfies so you don’t have to deliberate in delivering an image,” suggests Morgan. “You want responses to be quick and lively.” If you didn’t have time to take photo’s before remember to make sure you angle you image similar to what their view would be in person. “Angles are key when taking photos and recording video during sexting,” Morgan says. “The visuals are the bread and butter of sexy texting and can make or break the experience. Take photos from angles that only reveal the erogenous zones of the body (mouth, neck, bust, thighs, abdomen, booty, feet, pelvic area).”
