Safety should always come first! Snapchat is a great alternative to sexting when you want the comfort of your pictures and words not being saved forever. However, there are hacks to make any content you send via Snapchat a little more permanent beyond the app’s natural parameters, so we have some tips to help keep you as safe as possible while you’re sexting on snapchat.
You need to trust your Snap partner
While there are sneaky ways someone could technically save your snap the most common one is to screen shot it. Thankfully if someone does screenshot your photo, you immediately get a notification. But that might not help you if the person who just saved it doesn’t care that you know. It is important to make sure you trust the person you’re Snapchat sexting; 0therwise, leaked nudes could be a concern.
Snap it don’t Story it
Thankfully snapchat wont let you accidently go live, but one of the main risks of using Snap over regular texting is that there’s a slightly higher chance you might accidentally make your sexy sext your Story instead. Make double sure you only click on the name of the person you intend to send it to
Send a warning snap
Giving someone a little heads-up can still go a long way. If they’re used to getting innocuous Snaps from you when they’re at work, they may unknowingly open up a fully nude photo of you next to their coworker. So, before you send that sexy selfie send a quick message or suggestive snap to warn them the next one won’t be so innocent.
