As we head into winter and colder weather this weekend let’s talk about Psychrophilia.

Psychrophilia

Not to be confused with Psychrophiles which are extremophilic organisms that can grow and reproduce at temperatures as low as -20 degrees. Psychrophilia is sexual arousal that results from being cold, or from watching others freeze. Shrinkage and frostbite aren’t a problem for Eskimo loving psychrophiliacs. Their libido rises as their temperature drops.

Frozen

If you are wondering how on earth psychophilia is even possible, think about if you have ever been aroused seeing a woman’s “headlights,” nipple hardening is most often a reaction to the body being cold similar to goosebumps. If you’ve ever walked in a freeze and thought it would be a hot place to get it on, you may be a psychrophiliac.

Experimenting

If you and your partner want to give it a go and see if you enjoy a little “ice, ice, baby” try adding ice pops or snowballs to your foreplay.
