In a society where sex is considered the ultimate pleasure, it is necessary to have safe words to express enjoyment during sexual intercourse. The most common word couples use while having sex is ‘yes’, but what if it doesn’t mean yes? There are many other words that can be used as well such as ‘oh god’ or even just moaning in pleasure. These words don’t necessarily make the experience any less enjoyable for both parties involved, so why not add a safe word into the mix?

There is a reason why everyone seems to love cuddling up on the sofa with a loved one. It is because it provides an incredible sense of security and comfort, as well as being very relaxing. But what most people don’t know is that when two or more people get into bed together, they can also experience this sense of security and comfort, but with even more passion than if they were alone. However, in order for this passion to be felt by both parties equally and not lead to negative consequences for either person this passion needs to be safe.

Safe words, such as ‘red’ or a number, can be used to avoid any unwanted activity. In this case the person on top will stop just in time before the other person gets uncomfortable and they end up getting hurt. If both people are using safe words then you know that everything is going well. If one person starts acting out without using a safe word then it means that things are not going so well and they could be feeling uncomfortable. Using safe words is also good because if either person forgets to use their safe word then it tells everyone else that things did not go as planned and want to stop.
