Sex is a marvelous, mysterious, and sometimes strange thing. Without Sex researchers we would have to rely on locker room stories and porn for most of our knowledge. This may be a strange thought but most of what you may think you know about men and sex may actually be wrong. Today we are going to take a peek at a few clipboards from sex research to see if science backs or smashes the most common stereotypes about men and sex.
Bedroom Brain

There are many stereotypes about men’s brains when it comes to sex. From only using 10 percent of the brain to thinking about sex every seven seconds. Well what does science say about how often men are really thinking about sex? According to the Kinsey Institute study “Diversity of sexual orientation,” which references studies from the 1950’s through present day, only 54 percent of men think about sex every day or several times a day, 43 percent a few times a week or a few times a month, and 4 percent less than once a month. Which makes the sex on the brain stereotype false!
Superior Size
For as long as there’s been such thing as a ruler, men have been putting wood to… “wood” and wondering how they measure up. The problem is that most of the actual surveys of penis size are unscientific and unreliable. Most studies have relied on men to honestly and accurately answer just how big they are. That’s similar to asking a woman how much she weighs; answers may vary from rounding or different measurement locations. So, if you have been aiming for that glorious 8 inches, don’t worry the Journal of Urology put the average penis size at 5.08 inches, and the International Journal of Impotence Research put it at 5.35 inches. So, if you are between 5 and 6 inches you are actually average size!
Sex marathon’s
From movies and porn, to novels and locker rooms, there seems to be the conception that sex is a marathon event lasting at least an hour on average. Such marathon sessions are actually the exception not the rule. Surveys find that the average sex session lasts from three to ten minutes, with solo sessions averaging at only 12 minutes. Which begs the question, why exactly are porno’s so long? Can we just cut out the first 30 minutes and just jump right into the action?
We will see you next Saturday for some seriously strange loving!
