It’s strange sex time again! Our Scary Fetishes article got us wondering if there was more to Vorarephilia than just being eaten by a giant. Turns out there is, so buckle up we have a giant amount of information for you.

First things first: What is Vorarephilia?

Vorarephilia is a paraphilia and a fetish mostly indulged by role-playing. The role play involves the devouring of or being devoured by another person or creature sometimes the participants are alive and whole, “soft vore”, and sometimes it’s with gore or killing, “hard vore”. One of the most common role plays involves one partner being a giant and devouring the other partner. However for some people it isn’t enough to just pretend their partner is larger, they seek out sexual partners who are significantly larger than themselves in stature. If being eaten alive, or dead, by a giant isn’t your cup of tea there are more options if you are into size sexual play.

Macrophilia

Macrophilia is a ‘lover of large’ or, more specifically, of giant women and giantesses. Macrophiliacs celebrate everything big and like their women large and in charge. Obviously aside from size there is a degree of power-play here as those with Macrophilia find themselves at the whims of the giant women they imagine themselves with and can be crushed or brought to heel at any point. Each fantasy situation is different for every macrophile as the fetish is mostly fantasy-based. Even the preferred heights of the fantasy giants differ between individuals. For instance, some macrophiles have a preference for people only a few feet taller than themselves whereas others involve giants who are hundreds of feet high.

Microphilia

On the opposite end of the arousal spectrum, you will find Microphilia, which is exactly what it sounds like. Macrophiles are sexually attracted towards small and micro things. Don’t worry if Thumbelina is a little too little for you many Microphiliacs identify as having a fetish for little people. The term “microphilia” is rarely used amongst the microphilic community. They prefer to use the acronym “SW” for shrinking women, or “SM” for shrinking men. As with macrophilia there’s no specific size that seems to be favored by the SW community, most SW and SM fans appreciate a tiny human at any height, simply for the fact that they are really small.
