In honor of the recent uptick in woman loving fancy rocks this week we are hitting the back roads and talking about lithophilia.
What is Lithophilia?
We’ve all heard of tree huggers and nature lovers, but for lithophilia things get a little dirtier, literally. Lithophilia is sexual attraction to gravel and/or stone or arousal from sexual activites while rolling around in or on dirt/gravel. If your partner has rocks covering all of the surfaces in their home, they may just be a spiritual person, however chances are if they are even keeping them in their bedside drawer they are a lithophiliac.
What to know
Philias are similar to fetishes, however sometimes they can become all encompassing. If there is a lithophiliac in your life they may NEED rocks or dirt around to even become aroused. They may also identify as asexual. Since it is the actual rocks that are most often turning them on they may not actually want to engage in sex with a person.
If you are engaging in sexual activities on or with rocks make sure to take safety precautions. Similar to yoni eggs rocks and gravel are porous, they can contain and spread bacteria. Make sure to have first aid supplies on standby as well as cuts and scrapes are a real possibility if you’re rolling around down an old dirt road.
