Saturdays around here are dedicated to all things not vanilla. If it is strange, quirky, or unusual we are here for it every Saturday! This week we are taking a closer look at sapiosexuals. So sit back and grab your thinking cap because this week, it’s all about brains! Do you have a secret librarian fetish? Librarians, teachers, professors, and others associated with learning institutions are often favorites of sapiosexual persons. Read on to find out if maybe you are a bit of a nymphobrainiac after all.
What is a sapiosexual
At it’s core a sapiosexual is someone who prefers intelligence over physical aspects of attraction. They would rather have long and intimate conversations that traverse through the infinite galaxies of your mind, than watch a simi-porn on Netflix with you. The term has been widely used since the late 90’s.

A Sapiosexual person is never impressed with looks; looks aren’t even secondary for them. Their interests lie in meaningful and deep talks. They do not care about how their partner looks or what the world thinks of them. Small talk is a turn off for a sapiosexual, so if you aren’t ready to strip your walls down and let them make love to your mind, they are not the partner for you.
Sapiosexuals aren’t necessarily looking for someone who graduated with a 4.0 or who reads in their spare time. They are looking for something deeper, an incisive, inquisitive, insightful, irreverent mind. As conversation is often their form of foreplay so intelligence and curiosity are super important qualities in their partner. This intellectual synergy simply fires up the relationship.
Do you believe the brain is the bodies largest sex organ? If so, then you may just be a sapiosexual! We will see you next Saturday for more strange sex adventures!
