Forget about #bitchbaby, after Tony Goldwyn’s appearance on Ellen I am just dying to see the phone sex scene from season four, episode seven of Scandal titled “Baby Made A Mess!” With all the sexiness that makes up this show, hearing that this was so hot that Goldwyn found himself blushing while reading the script has me seriously intrigued.
Ellen asked Goldwyn about the phone sex scene and he responded saying: “It really took me by surprise! Of course, as you know, on Scandal we never get the scripts until we all sit down together, usually the day before shooting, and read them out loud together. So I’m reading this script totally blind, and I get to this scene…and it was really hot! And pretty out there — I could not believe they aired that on ABC.”
When comparing the phone sex and regular sex scenes he also admitted to Ellen that, “Doing phone sex was actually harder. In a regular sex scene it’s all so weird and ridiculous and you have this other person you’re with,” Goldwyn said. “[But during the phone sex scene] it was just me alone with a phone actually having phone sex, and just the crew watching me. One of our assistant camera people, this wonderful woman Emily who does the focus, she’s sitting right next to me operating the focus on the camera, kind of looking at me, and I was thinking, ‘Emily, I’m really embarrassed!’” You know what they say, practice makes perfect!
