We are in our fort at the lodge remembering the time when I first met her parents. It was a little shaky at first but the quickly realized that Amy and I loved each other. Amy is just now learning that on that trip I had asked her father for permission to marry her. It was right after this that I made arrangements to duplicate our first date on our upcoming trip back to the resort where we met, and then to go one step further, to plan our wedding for the end of that very week, on Christmas eve.
