We spent the day at the festival grounds which was set up as a turn of the century logging camp. We take a little tour from the Inn. They have teamed up with the nearby village and a railroad preservation society to restore and operate a turn of the century railroad. The track, formerly belonging to a mining company was used to haul ore from the mine to the mining town. With the mine gone, the town is now a small village and the track was in bad repair. Now restored, it makes the 15 minute run into town several times a day. For a small fee, we are able to get a private car, which turns out to be an executive car. Because of new fallen snow, Deer and other wildlife are running between the rails where the train has cleared the snow. The engineer has slowed us way down so that the trip takes nearly an hour. But we don't care, we're playing in the featherbed of our private car. The longer the trip the better we like it.
