Tonight we had a combination what if dream and flashback. We were wondering why we never built our blanket fort while we were in our cozy little room in the Lodge. So we started dreaming what it would have been like. At the same time, it was just 5 years ago that I coaxed a shy Amy out of her room at the resort where she was trapped with a missing reservation and no transportation home, thus I had offered her the extra bedroom in my cabin. She finally came out and sat by the fire and watched Heartland with me. At first kinda shy, but it was cool even with the first so she ended up cuddling with me. How nice the fort would have been that night. to hold in some heat. One big difference, then, we weren't even dating so it was cuddle only. Now we've been married 4 years and that rule no longer applies/

It's Christmas Eve, our 4 year anniversary. complete with a walk down memory late to that resort where we first met, had our first date, and married 1 year later. We decided early on to wait for our honeymoon and we were so glad we did.

Finally, Amy is back! Today we went with the owner of the lodge on a tour by chopper to check for snow build up. After that and lunch, we decided to check out the private hot tub/spa in our cabin. What can I say, hot water, bubbles, in tub mood lighting, soft light from the skylight, lanterns, and Amy. What more could I ask for.

While helping to decorate for the lodge's Grand opening as well as a surprise wedding anniversary party for the owners, I trip over a box holding the storeroom door open, causing it to close. Only then did I find out that the door was propped open while the maintenance guy went to get parts to fix the broken off inside knob. Amy and I were TRAPPED. We find a rollaway bed and set it up stacking boxed between it and the door, just in case someone cane in. Amy was wearing her sexy lingerie that I gave her for valentines. She quickly reminded me why I bought it.
